The Company

MirrorTab is a startup that is pushing to establish a new layer in the cybersecurity stack. For too long, companies have normalized their inability to secure data that is served to the customer’s browser—an inability to secure data on the client is in our view a missing security control. By safeguarding data and establishing a better mechanism to prevent digital data exfiltration, MirrorTab is making the internet a safer place to do business.

The Problem

40% of all enterprise cyberattacks are perpetrated via the highly vulnerable attack surface innate to modern browsers. Alarmingly, today’s standard security stack does little to defend against the injection, scraping, hijacking, etc. that is possible whenever a customer visits a website. MirrorTab is here to change that.

The same way Google Docs, Spotify, and Netflix have revolutionized the way we think about protecting IP, MirrorTab intends to fundamentally alter the way the world thinks about serving sensitive information (PII, PHI, etc.)

The Stack

We’re building on a modern stack! In your day-to-day you could be working with: Rust, React, Kotlin, Kubernetes, Docker, X11, WebRTC, Terraform, Codecs like H.264 or VP8, and more! We love to leverage industry best practices to deploy quickly and go through fast iterations on our product.

The Role

Love Kubernetes and building systems that scale? We’re building with scale, security, and cost in mind!

In this role you’ll help:

• Lead architecture and implement initiatives to manage the deployment of MirrorTab’s technology.
• Design, implement, and monitor system operations.
• Construct and architect deployment appliances.
• Own and manage CI/CD and code deployment.
• Manage site reliability and orchestrate systems for high-availability and business continuity in order to adhere to SLAs.
• Work with leadership to maintain and deliver on the company’s product roadmap, annual risk assessment, and information security objectives.
• Maintain and optimize budgets to meet goals.
• Recommends new technologies and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency.
• Manage the implementation of SOC2 security and controls.

We think you’ll be a great fit if you:

• have deep knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem (Helm, etc.)
• are excited about diving deep on cluster and container orchestration
• have direct experience working in cloud-based environments.
• are deeply familiar with DevOps, Terraform expertise is a plus.
• have built and maintain SDLCs that incorporates CI/CD.
